Benefit Perk Up Artist £23.50
This is the first thing I add to my Autumn make up bag. It is a custom complexion corrector containing three colour corrector’s that correct, cover and brighten the areas where you need it.
Due to the drop in temperature the redness in my skin gets a bit more prominent from the wind blowing in my face and I also find my under eyes looking darker then normal. Using this helps to cover my imperfections before I start applying my foundation.
This little compact also comes with a decent sized mirror so is great for travelling around with and fixing up on the go.
L’Oreal Infallible Total Cover £9.9
As we were blessed with a hot summer I changed my usual full coverage look to a bit more natural. I have not used a full coverage foundation in a while and I am so glad to add L’Oreal Infallible to my make up bag. The coverage on this is amazing, every flaw disappears. I have used this for quite some time and I love how the formula is lightweight but still has good coverage.
When used with a blurring primer I find this sits nicely on the skin without cracking into lines and pores. Infallible does dry down quickly and has a very matte finish although this is something I do look for from my foundations.
Laura Lee Cat’s Pajamas Palette £35.00
I find this palette great for Autumn as the shades just remind me of the season. The matte to shimmer ratio is good, giving plenty of options for creating different looks. I like they have included a black and off white to use as a liner or highlight. The formula of the shadows is actually really good and the colours work well, giving good pigmentation whilst blending with ease.
Apart from the packaging I do really like this palette and feel it is a little underrated.
E.L.F Baked Highlighter in Moonlight Pearls £5.0
As my eye and lip looks get a bit darker in Autumn I like to keep subtle with highlighter and have a more natural glow rather then blind everyone who walks by.
Moonlight Pearls is lovely and soft without being chalky. It leaves the gentlest of sheen to the cheeks and nose which is so effortless and easy to achieve (You can build it up for more dramatic effect if wanted). I have a pale complexion and this is such a light colour it looks radiant on the skin as apposed to shiny.
Huda Beauty Contour & Strobe Lip Set £29.00
For lips I have changed from my usual nude to the Huda Beauty lip set in Trophy Wife/ Shameless. The rose pink colour is perfect to start transitioning into bolder colours without overpowering. Throughout the day I shall be wearing it without the strobing gloss.
The formula is one of my favourites as far as liquid lips goes, it dries down quickly without being sticky and lasts for ages before needing a re-application.
For evenings I will glam it up a bit by using the strobing gloss which has lilac and gold glitter flecks in making the gloss so reflective. The liquid lip does not last as long with the gloss on top but this is to be expected.
Another thing I have to mention about Huda Liquid lips, they all smell amazing so are really pleasant to use.
Do you have a make up bag clear out every season and switch your products up or am I just high maintenance? What are you all looking forward to using during the Autumn season? I for one can’t wait for Halloween and will be trying to create something creepy with my make up. Let me know in the comments below and we can all start discussing.
Next post will be available on Tuesday, hope you all have a good weekend.
