Christmas is just around the corner. The panic is starting to set in. I’m sure everyone is rushing to find the right gift for their loved ones. I find make up loving people like myself so hard to buy for as I can be so picky when it comes to products. I’m hoping I can help by suggesting the Fenty Beauty lip paint.
As a Birthday treat I was given the Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint and I personally think this would make a great stocking filler for the beauty lovers in your life. I have been using it for the last few weeks and really put it to the test. So here are my thoughts and feelings:
Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint
- Price: £19 / $24
- Size: 4ml
- 100% Cruelty Free / Some Fenty products are Vegan the Lip paint is not
- 5 Shades available: Unbutton (pictured), Uncuffed, Unveil, Uncensored and Uninvited
The Packaging on these lip paints are stunning. They are certainly a show off product that would take centre stage on any dressing table. The handle is a silver coated plastic with the Fenty Beauty logo which is lovely and shiny. The bottom is a clear glass in which you can see the lip colour. The glass adds a nice weight to the product and gives a little luxury feel. Packaging wise this has been one of my favourite liquid lipsticks it adds such a chic element to my vanity.
Performance wise Fenty Beauty Lip Paint promises 12 hour wear with an easy application from the unique, precision applicator.
I’ll start with the applicator. It is a very unique shape, making it a big contrast to other liquid lipsticks. Despite the shape being quite new it works very well, working with the natural curves in my lips for a flawless application. I also find it dispenses the product well due to the shape, gaining a even application in one go.
The formula is as suggested like a paint to begin with, being very fluid and light. The fluid formula combined with the applicator give for a quick, easy and accurate application. The lip paint does dry down matte but refrains from being too drying.
Fenty Beauty: Including Everyone
Fenty beauty have proven to be so inclusive of different skin tones. The Lip paint seems to confirm this. The shade pictured is Unbutton (nude). I am remarkably fair which can make a lot of nude colours look overly dark on my skin or they can wash my lips our all together. Unbutton is the right shade of nude for me because it doesn’t do these things.
From what I’ve seen in the campaign and reviews it also works for so many other skin tones. It seems like a bit of an all rounder and I love the inclusiveness of the Fenty brand. They have so many products that can work for everyone which is something that needs to be adapted on by other brands.
12 Hour Wear
I will be honest I have not worn for the full 12 hours because well… that’s a long time for me to be wearing a matte liquid lip. I have however worn it for numerous hours throughout the day/ evening, to which it has performed pretty well. Eating, drinking and talking do not seem to effect the way the lip paint performs. The product stayed smooth with no cracking and faded evenly towards the end of the day. In all I have been very impressed with the quality of the product.
So if your stuck for a present idea for the make up diva of the family, Fenty beauty maybe worth a look. I would be more then happy to receive one of the other shades.
How do you feel about the Fenty Beauty brand? Have you used any of their other products? Let me know in the comment section below. Thank you for taking the time to read. My next post will be on Tuesday.
