Fast Beauty Fix With A Facial Cleansing Brush

One of my main goals this year is to focus on fast, quick beauty, that gives great results. My time has become really pushed with three kids running around, a husband and generally running the house due to this fast glam is where it is at for me this year.

Quick beauty in mind a couple of months ago I purchased the n spa facial cleansing brush which has really impressed me. As a result I’m going to share my experience with you and hopefully give you a new option when completing your daily skincare routine.

The facial cleansing brush kit retails for £15.00 (you can sometimes find it on sale for £10.00 during Asda’s price cut events). Listed is everything you will find inside the kit to get started.

  • 2 x cleansing brush heads
  • The handle in which to attach the brush heads
  • 2 x AA batteries

Swift Set Up

The brush is really easy to set up. All that needs to be done is to insert the batteries, clip on the brush head and then it’s good to go. As I said before fast everything is what I need right now.

The brush is safe to use in both morning and evening routines. It has two speeds consisting of low and high. The lower speed will gently massage cleanser into the skin whilst helping lift make up and impurities. The higher speed is for a more intense exfoliation. I often use the higher speed when applying my weekly facial oil as I feel it helps penetrate the moisture into the skin more.

One of the reasons the cleansing brush has been so successfully incorporated into my skincare routine is because it is so quick to use. The brush is not something you have to add to a routine but an item to replace traditional cloths and facial sponges. Once I have applied cleanser I literally turn on the brush and massage the cleanser for as little as 30 seconds and then rinse my face. Done.

After use you can place the brush on a soap plate to air dry ready for the evening. The brush heads will need changing every one to two months. Refill packs are available in sets of two and retail for £6.00. These can also be found on sale at certain times.

Prompt Results

Changing to a cleansing brush has been very beneficial for my skin. I often get problematic areas during my TOTM or when stressed. The cleansing brush has quickly cleared these up.

Since beginning the brush process, two months ago my skin has remained unblemished. It has also helped diminish blackheads to nothing. I have found the texture of my skin has improved due to the daily gentle exfoliation. It now appears plumper and more youthful.

As I continue on with my skincare routine I find my skin accepts the other products much more due to the gentle exfoliation from the brush. Throughout the day I have a lot less drier patches and my skin feels a lot softer and moisturised. This has really helped improve make up application, giving a more even base.

Your Thoughts On Fast Beauty Fix?

I hope you have enjoyed my first fast beauty fix product of the year. Let me know your thoughts in the comment section. When looking for skincare products do you look for fast / quick application? Have you used any other facial brushes? I hear Clarisonic is good but on the pricey side of things.

Also if you haven’t noticed I do have a new theme and have now taken the leap to self hosted so if you would like to give me any feedback on this I would love you forever.

It’s really good to know that there are cleansing brushes out there that don’t cost an arm and a leg, which is probably what has always kind of turned me off. I’ve been tempted by both the Clarisonic and the Clinique version of the Clarisonic, but they’re both well over 100 EUR/pounds and, even if they’re any good, it’s still a huge investment.
This one might be a great way of easing yourself into the world of cleansing brushes.
This is a great review, Kate.

    Love xx

Thanks lovely.. I completely agree it’s such an investment to get the more expensive ones. I figured if I started small and enjoyed the process I might upgrade depending on how it goes. Thanks for reading lovely and hope your having a great start to the new year x x

I’m really enjoying using mine. I think it’s really helped keep my skin clear. This is one of the more affordable options if you want to try brush cleansing out before investing in a more expensive option. x x
