Preparing For Surgery

There has been a change in my schedule for Blogtober as I have recently got the call to say my date for surgery is ready and it’s NEXT WEDNESDAY!! To try and not freak out I have been putting a few things in place to ready my mind for the big day, so this post is going to be a little catch up and run through of what I’ve been doing.

It turns out the few weeks notice I thought I’d have before surgery has not happened and here we are with four days. To lessen the stress and worry here are a few things I have been doing to prepare:

Know The In’s And Outs

The first step to relaxing my mind was reading all the guidance sheets given before the operation and really knowing what I am about to go through.

Please don’t use Dr Google it will only make you worry. You can ask your hospital to send you all the information needed.

I am now aware that the surgeon is planning keyhole surgery but if any complications arise it will then be the alternative (thank god I will be asleep). Recovery from keyhole is allowed to be done at home although if the alternative happens I will be remaining in hospital.

Expectations they have of myself are to provide my own dressing gown and slippers. You can bet your ass I’m treating myself to some new ones. Both toe and finger nails to be free from polish or acrylics and no make up. I will not be allowed to eat or drink from 9pm the previous evening and any medications I am currently taking are to be taken with me and given in to the nurse assigned to me.

Get Organised

As I am off early Wednesday morning and the husband is taking over with the children I have prepped all their uniforms and P.E kits ready. I’ve also made a note of our daily routine (which my husband finds quite patronising) but knowing I’ve noted everything down makes me feel more relaxed so he’s not too offended.

I have also packed a small bag of clothes containing day to day wear, pyjamas, some unscented wash products, sensitive wet wipes, my laptop and plenty of reading material. I am a notorious over packer.

If you have any aids such as an asthma pump, hearing aid or contact lenses be sure to pack all you need in your bag.

If I have to stay my husband can just bring in the bag and I’m all set for the week.

Preventing The Anxiety

hello-my-name-is-anxiety (1)

When I have big things like this happen I often have an anxiety attack, ending me not going or forcing myself to go and then getting in such a state I walk out.

One of my September goals was to learn a bit more about anxiety in general and learn coping mechanisms to help me get through these times. A few things I will be doing before hand will be:

Meditating – This may sound a bit “off the wall” but I read taking time out for at least three minutes a day to sit and think of absolutely nothing helps to settle your nerve and gain control over your mind. I have been trying this out over the last month and really think it helps (not sponsored but I have been using the head-space app to get started).

Talking – I will be making sure I set aside time to talk to my family about my feelings towards the operation. I normally avoid doing this and deal with it myself but I have learnt from the encouragement of others that talking about it puts the worry out in the open to normally a reassuring response.

Taking Time To Relax – Due to the surgery it will be a while before I’m able to have a bath (only showers) and use some strong scented products. I will be using the time before hand to really indulge myself in relaxing and making myself feel good.

I’m hoping the above has given some guidance or help to anyone who is also setting themselves up for surgery. If anyone would like to add anything or has some great tips that I haven’t mentioned please comment as I’d be extremely great-full.

I don’t know where surgery is going to leave me with Blogtober. I am hoping to continue on and have a few things scheduled but I’m not sure if I’m going to be high on pain medication, please stick with me if you can I will be doing my best.

Next post will be tomorrow.

Here’s a little bit of what I normally post:

Autumn Lip Care

TooCoolForSchool: Pumpkin Purifying Mask Review

The Ultimate Autumn Evening In

Autumn is my favourite time of the year. A cosy night in with the fire on, scented candles burning, a soft blanket and some pampering is my idea of heaven. There is really no better time to give yourself some TLC then when it’s getting colder outside and the evenings get darker. For this post I have put together ideas form my ultimate Autumn evening in.

Bath time Relaxation
Bath time relaxation

To start the evening off there is nothing better then a relaxing bath where aching muscles can unwind, you can leave all technologies behind and switch the mind off. For years I have been using the Radox Feel Relaxed Bath Soak (£1.00 for 500ml). Adding this to the bath creates some thick luxurious bubbles you can’t wait to lie in. The formula is infused with lavender and waterlily giving such a gorgeous, instantly relaxing scent that fills your bathroom. Stepping into this I know I can just ‘zone out’, letting my mind and body unwind. For the sum of £1.00 it is such an inexpensive way to give yourself a little boost and add something special to your bath routine.

To continue the relaxing vibe and to match the bubbles in the bath I then use the Urban City Carbonated Bubble Charcoal Clay Mask ($20.00/£15.35 for 100ml). I have been using this for ages and the tub still has a tonne of product left. It’s a quick three to five minute mask and the charcoal based formula removes all traces of dirt and make up. After use my skin feels spotless and since I started using this mask and other charcoal products I have had little breakouts and my skin has been so much clearer.

Once cleaned up I hop out and put on my favourite Maire Pyjamas (there is no sexy pj’s here) that have been toasting on the radiator and then I continue on with pampering myself.

Nail Care And Relaxation
Love these Essie polishes

Unlike most I tend to stay away from the scented candles’ and opt for a wax melt instead. I find the wax melts to give a much more intense scent throughout the room than a candle which is something I really enjoy when relaxing. My current favourites are from Yankee (£1.70 individual melts) in the scents Perfect Margarita, Sparkling Cinnamon Spice and Star Anise & Orange. Each have such strong Aromas that create a great ambience during a night of pampering.

With the candles on and feeling warm and comfortable after the bath, I move on to nail care. Filing and painting my nails instantly de-stresses me (kind of like adult colouring only on your nails). Recently I have been using a few Essie nail products (polishes from £7.99). They have so many great choices when it comes to shades and colours. I find their polish to hold up well after application and can often go the full week without getting cracking or chips. I have also been using their Naturally clean nail polish remover (£9.95 for 118ml). It doesn’t smell as harsh as other polish removers and contains moisturisers and vitamins to keep nails healthy.

Once nails are painted I settle down in my cosy blanket to watch Breaking Bad repeats and forget about the world.

So there you have my ultimate Autumn evening in. There really is nothing more satisfying then spending the evening to relax and escape the stresses of the day. There is something about Autumn that can make you feel all cosy.

Let me know in the comments section about your ultimate evenings. How do you spend them? How do you switch off from the day job? Do you have any products that help you relax and forget about it all?

Next post shall be up tomorrow so until then I hope you’ve enjoyed.

The Blogger Recognition Award

Blogger Recognition Award

I was recently asked by the lovely Lynette over at Life With Lynette to take part in the blogger recognition award. It is a lovely little award that spreads the love and helps everyone know their input into the blogging world is appreciated. I am really happy Lynette thought of me when nominating and thank her for involving me. I have been excited to take part.

Here Are The Rules:

  • Thank the blogger that nominated you
  • Write a post to show your award
  • Give a brief story of how your blog started
  • Give two pieces of advice to new bloggers
  • Select 15 other bloggers you want to give this award to
  • Comment on each blog and let them know you have nominated them and provide the link to the post you created

I’m going to dive right in and tell you a bit about my blog and some tips and advice I’ve learnt along the way.

How I Started My Blog

Believe it or not I started a blog during my university years on Tumblr (I’m showing my age now). Things never really took off, mainly as I didn’t have a clue how to use Tumblr properly and I was not confident in myself enough to have a direction with what I wanted to say. I always had ideas but I just couldn’t get them down and out there.

Fast forward nine years (a really long time I know) and my life had some dramatic changes. I had left full time work due to becoming a parent to three little ones. The three all came along within the space of four years and I was feeling a bit lost within myself. I was losing the identity of who I was and feeling like ‘just a mum’.

Randomly one evening I said to my husband “I’m going to start blogging about all the things I love” (I have taken media and English throughout my schooling so knew a bit about writing). Next day I set up a page on WordPress and Kate’s Beauty Home was born.

It’s been just over a year and I have loved every minute of it. It’s challenging and hard to get into a rhythm at first but once you’ve found your beat it becomes so much fun. I have had the pleasure of making new friends in the community who have been so supportive in helping me on my way and I have found something that gives me ‘Kate’ back not just ‘Kate the mum’.

Two Bits Of Advice

  1. Reach out to others who inspire you! Yes it’s daunting, Yes you will worry about coming across like a weirdo, but you will be surprised by the response. The community is lovely and there are genuine people who want to support and help you. Take part in Blogger Chats to find people who are on the same wave length as you and start making conversations.
  2. Please don’t worry about numbers! They come, it takes time and hard work. When I first started I was hearing so much about how big peoples numbers were and I really stressed myself out on how to get there. It takes all the fun out of what you are doing and puts a humongous pressure on yourself when your only just beginning. Truth is my numbers, after a year, are still not anywhere near some others but I am now past caring. I write to express myself, to have discussions and interact with people. If you love it and put in the effort it will come.

My Nominations

I don’t think I can quite do 15 so here are some people I would like to give some recognition and a big cheer to.

That is all for today I hope the people I nominated don’t mind I just wanted to let you all know I see you all working hard. Next post will now be Monday as I start Blogtober.

September Is Here So I’ve Set Some Goals

September Goals: Life, Blog and Beauty
September Goals: All my life, beauty and blog goals for the month

August was the best month my blog has ever had. It was also the first month I have ever set any goals and I don’t think this is a coincidence. The goals I set helped to keep me motivated and were a constant reminder of the things I wanted to achieve for both the month and the future. Having a visual of where I wanted to be and how I was going to get there really helped me stick to a plan on days I felt tired, in a rut and just generally not feeling it.

This month I’m going to set some more goals but I’m going to expand them not just to blogging but life and beauty wise. I’m interested to see if this has a positive effect on my all round life and helps improve my productivity in other areas.

Blogging Goals

I don’t really make blogging goals based on numbers as it is not something that is a great motivator for me. I tend to stick to content, trying to be organised enough to have ideas that would be fun to read but are also a little insight to brands or even myself as a person. Here are my September blog goals:

  • Keep to my two posts a week schedule, making sure I have notes for each post and I produce the best content I can for the lovely people that take the time to read my blog.
  • Take part in twitter blog chats more often. They are fun and a great way to find friends with common interest who can be a great support within the community.
  • Read more of my favourite blogs and be active in commenting the work I love. I will also be using the twitter chats to find new blogs I can enjoy and support.
  • My last target is to learn more about SEO (or try to get my head around it) I am dying to achieve a little green light from Yoast!!

Beauty Goals

As a beauty blogger I love everything cosmetics and this month I have decided to put some targets in place to better my understanding and improve my ability with make up and skincare.

  • Work on my skincare routine. Right now my routine is pretty good and I’ve just stocked up on The Ordinary products to try them out but what I really want to do this month is learn about which products work for me and why. I want to look into ingredients and how they work for my skin. I know a little bit already but as they say ‘Knowledge is power’ so I could always learn more.
  • I am diabolical at putting on eyelashes. I even avoid doing them myself and often just go to my salon and get extensions. I am going to master the art of false eyelash application this month.
  • Practise and Prep a make up look for my night off. Twice a month the husband and I have a night off from the children (Thank you grandparents) and we often go for food. The last few times I have got ready so quickly and haven’t had time to enjoy the process. This month I am going to plan make up looks and practise them ready for my evenings off. That way I don’t have to stress about what products to use and what eye look to go for (I can hear the whispers of ‘High maintenance’ haha).

Lifestyle Goals

I have never ever set any life goals as far as self care goes and this makes me a bit disappointed in myself. I am making September the month I change this. I’m not going to set myself massive targets to start off but little things that I think will help change my thought process and help my anxiety.

  • Eat earlier and healthier – I am a sucker for getting take out. Once the kids are finally sleeping and I have finally sat down the last thing I want to do is get back up to cook. I’m going to apply the organisation I have for my blog and prep meals that are nutritious and filling. Hopefully this will give me a boost mentally too.
  • Have one night a week where all technologies are turned off or put away. Since going camping and having no form of WiFi or Television I found I really enjoyed the silence and head space it gave me. As a family we did simple things such as play cards, colour and I even had time to read.
  • Seek out information and help for anxiety. I have always avoided the fact I suffer from anxiety. Over the past few years since leaving work and looking after the kids full time it has got progressively worse as I don’t have to push myself into situations that make me uncomfortable as much. I have also found that when I do push myself into these situations it can now often end in me having a panic attack. I need to sort this and learn about how to deal with my feelings so that I can live an as ‘normal’ as possible life.

There you have all my September goals, I have a little wall chart that is brightly coloured and eye catching so I can stay up to date. I was wondering how many of us set goals and targets like this. Do you find it motivating? Let me know in the comments section. Plus if you have any goals you want to share or any information on the topics I’ve discussed please feel free to add them in.

Next post will be Friday so until then I hope you all have a good week.

Elegant Touch House of Holland: Glam Nails Review

A few months ago I bought a couple of sets of the House of Holland nailed by Elegant Touch nails. I normally leave my nails grow natural as whenever I get acrylics or gels I find it hard to time manage getting infills done. I tend to stick to glue on acrylics for special evenings out or if I going away. House of Holland and Elegant Touch have created numerous sets with really unique and funky designs that you could use for many occasions. Today I’m going to be giving you the insight on the Goldie Lookin’ Nails versions.

What A Stud!

The Goldie lookin’ Nails set consistes of 24 nails with ten different sizes, nail glue, a nail file and instructions. If you get the nails from Boots they will set you back £12.99 but I have found them on amazon starting from as low as £4.95 (link below).

House Of Holland False Nails

House of Holland False Nails
House of Holland Goldie Lookin’ Nails set

The set contains five nails with gold studs embellishments and the rest are plain white.

Do they work?

I do really like these for a special occasion, I find them a bit loud and proud for day to day. Yet saying that these days nail art is becoming bolder so if you wanted to use them for every day I’m sure that would be fine.

To apply I cut down my natural nails and filed. I didn’t use the file provided as I find it rather chunky and a bit small to use. Ensuring my nails, hands and cuticles were clean I got started.

From the ten available sizes I was able to find one appropriate for each nail easily. If I found one that was a little big I gently filed it down each side of the nail to gain a more desired fit and shape.

The glue was easy to open and use without being too messy. I normally use a glue with a screw top and brush as it’s easier to apply to the nail and you can just pop the brush back in the glue pot without worrying about a mess. The Elegant Touch glue was fine to use, It dispersed onto thee nail evenly and I had no problems. I found the glue strong enough that over the 48 hour of wearing I didn’t have one nail snap off or come loose.

Once applied I left the glue to set for five ten minutes before filing down my newly applied nails. They are a little sharp due to the stiletto shape. |I did use the file provided for this as it was softer then my normal nail file and I didn’t want to alter the shape of the nail to much.

The House of Holland nails were comfortable to wear and a decent length so I was able to go about doing my day to day things without being crippled by my nails. The nails are delicate though and I found the studs do rise and come off when being worn throughout the day so it is best to be careful. I have used another House of Holland set (Ruby Tuesday) and found the embellishments also came off easily with them.

Overall I have enjoyed how my nails looked, they are really comfortable and easy to wear. They added to my outfit and all over confidence of feeling good before going on a night out. They are very fun and will gain a lot of comments from people.

For me they are twenty four hour nails as the designs do come off over time so if you were to want to wear them longer they do look a little bit scruffy. Price wise £12.99 is a little steep for me when they don’t last as long as wanted but as they are available on amazon for as cheap as £4.95 I’d happily pay for a set.

Have you tried any of the House of Holland nails or have a favourite design from the collection? Some of them are incredibly cute. Do you have ‘go to’s’ for false nails that you always use for special occasions?  Let me know in the comments below it would be great to get some recommendations on other brands and just to hear what others love using.

Next post will be on Tuesday, I hope you’ve enjoyed this one and have a great weekend.

Sunshine Blogger Awards: A Fun Q&A

Sunshine Blogger Award logo

Today I am going to be doing something a bit different from the usual beauty review and this is because I was nominated to take part in the Sunshine Blogger award by the lovely A Shouty Ms and I thought it would be a great way to let you all know a bit more about me.

Firstly I’m going to let you in on what the sunshine blogger awards are all about,

Here are the rules:

  1. Thank the person who nominated you and link their blog to this post
  2. Answer the eleven questions asked by your nominator
  3. Nominate eleven bloggers
  4. Ask them eleven questions, different to the ones you’ve answered
  5. List the rules
  6. Display the Sunshine Blogger Award logo on your post and blog site

What sort of a feminist are you?

I don’t think I’m brave enough to call myself a feminist but I do wish for everyone to be seen as equal. I also follow the rules of building females up rather then knocking one another down, that way we can be so inspirational to each other.

What’s your top tip for a new blogger?

To get as organised as you can, know what you want to incorporate in each post and be ready to work your nuts off writing and self promotion. It’s also important to remember why you blog, and if you feel there is something special in what you do –  keep pushing!

Dogs or cats?

We actually have both in our house, a border Collie called George and two cats, Miss Bojangles and Wusseywat. I love them all but nothing beats a snuggle with my cats.

How do you give back to others?

I try my best to be as helpful towards others as I can, to be honest there is a lot more I could do and will be something I look at myself about and evaluate. I should really get involved in my community a bit more and help at local events, this will be something I’ll set goals towards.

What’s the thing that you love but lots of people hate?

It’s disgusting and I know you shouldn’t but I love pimple popping I find it fascinating, I could watch Dr pimple popper on Youtube all day and not be at all squeamish.

What are your top three books?

I have loads but here goes:

  1. Melvin Burgess Junk
  2. George Orwell 1984
  3. Charlaine Harris Sookie Stackhouse stories

What are you grateful for today?

I am grateful for having a happy and healthy family that I can love and care for, nothing else matters as long as I have the ones I love around me.

What song will be played at your funeral?

I haven’t got one probably something up beat that made everyone feel happy instead of sad, I know my husbands’ is Blue Oyster Cult “Don’t Fear The Reeper”.

Where would you like to go on a city break?

It’s cliche but New York, I want to be Carrie although Samantha is more my personality (I can be quite crude).

If you could add one thing onto the school curriculum, what would it be?

I would add courses about finances and how to manage yours as you grow older. There would be topics such as bill paying, overdrafts and just general financial planning that prepares you for adult life.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

To be unapologetic for who you are as person, to stay humble and treat others as you wish to be treated.

Thanking A Shouty Ms for the great questions I hope I’ve managed to answer them all to a satisfactory level. The eleven questions I decided to ask have been kept to blog based as that’s an immediate thing we all have in common and I would find it really interesting to see why everyone blogs. So without further delay here they are :

  1. What interested you in blogging to begin with and gave you a kick to starting?
  2. Who has been your biggest inspiration withing the blogging community?
  3. How do you plan/prep your posts?
  4. Do you have any tips or advice you’d like to share on getting started with a blog?
  5. How do you get in the mood to start writing? (If I don’t have a cup of tea, a candle burning and earrings in … It’s not happening)
  6. How do you cope with writers block?
  7. What has been your most fun post to date? (Add a link so we can all have a good read)
  8. Have you been to any amazing events as a result of your blog, if so where? If not are there any you’d like to attend?
  9. How do you feel about the photography game that comes with blogging?
  10. What do you hope to achieve from your blog space?
  11. Can you sum up how blogging makes you feel in three words?

The people I am nominating to take part in this fun, little task are:

@Newlune , @lifewithlilred , @bibisbookblog

@beautyholics101 , @tarheelfit , @katedaysaweek1 , @adventuresofacornishmaid

Hope you have enjoyed getting to know me a little better and this has as much fun to read as it was me thinking of answers. I will be getting back to normal on Tuesdays post so until then have a great weekend.

Pack With Me : The Make up Essentials For Your Holiday

Summer is officially here and we all know this is the time of year we pack up for a little getaway for some much needed relaxation. This year my poor suffering husband has set me the challenge of getting all my much needed make up into one tiny bag (well medium sized if you go by the online description), as he has a bee in his bonnet about me constantly over packing beauty products. This would stem from my first labour where the nurses were still bringing in my essential six bags of hair products, make up, skincare, clothes and a bag of shoes to my labour room even after my son had been born. Apparently for my dear husband this embarrassment was unbearable so now I’m on a limit of one bag.

Like a phoenix from the ashes I will rise to this challenge and prove that yes I am the minimal wife who’s make up is still flawless without the slightest moan… This is going to be difficult.

In order to make this actually happen I have made a list of the products I cannot go without and tried to use ones that will be great for day wear but can also be used to create a bold evening look. I have also found when looking through my drawers I have a few mini versions and these would be fab for a weeks trip.

First thing in the “medium sized bag” is the Maybelline baby skin instant pore eraser (£7.99), I cannot do my make up without a primer and this reduces the appearance of my pores whilst the packaging is of minimal size so is perfect for travelling.

Foundation wise I am normally a full coverage girl but due to the rising temperatures it is just not practical for day so I have chosen to take a e.l.f flawless finish foundation (£7.50) as it has an SPF of 15 and a lighter coverage for day that can be built up to fuller for the evening.

Revolution conceal & define (£4.00) is my chosen concealer (if you read my previous post you will understand why). I will probably only be using concealer at night and this is a great full coverage option plus it can be used for highlighting during contour so it has multiple uses. The packaging is small and so ideal for my little challenge.

Bronzer has to be Benefit Hoola Lite (£25.50) as it seems to be the only tone of bronzer that does not have me looking like a satsuma!! It can also be used as a contour and it comes with it’s own compact little brush so no need to take a big one (I am getting to good at this challenge you know, the husband has underestimated my powers).

With my new found confidence of this being something I can achieve I move on to brows and its another easy pick. I will be taking the Anastasia BH brow definer (£24.00), easy to use, small compact and has a spoolie attached to the end so the ultimate for travelling brow kits.

An eye shadow palette was where things became a bit tricky, my beloved Jaclyn Hill was just not going to fit and other palettes I own are clumpy and going to take up all the space in my silly small bag. I then remembered I have the Huda Beauty obsessions (£25.00) in warm brown and this became a gift from god. The nine shadows in the palette are all high quality, easy to blend and there are enough neutrals available to do a subtle day look whilst plenty for a more dramatic evening look especially when using the gorgeous gold colour. It is so mini in size but also comes with a mirror if you were to have a make up emergency and need a quick touch up.

I’m going to quickly go over eye liner, mascara and blush as these are just products that work well for me and have been staples in my bag for a while. Eyeliner is the master precise by Maybelline (£5.99), mascara, L’Oreal Lash Paradise (£11.99) and blush is M.A.C sheer tone blush (£19.50) in the colour breath of plum as this compliments my skin tone nicely.

The last few products to fit into my bag will be two Morphe liquid lip (£12.00) in fancy pants and hot shot. I will be using fancy pants in the day as it’s a subtle pink and with hot shot being such a bright red it is perfect for glamming up your evening look.

Lastly I will be packing the mini version M.A.C prep + prime fix + which I got in a set with the larger one for £31.00. It is expensive but it is the only thing I use as far as setting sprays go and the mini is ideal to take away.

So this is how I have successfully filled my make up bag with the products that can take me away for the week without feeling I’m in dire strait for look ideas. I even have room for two eye shadow brushes and am incredibly proud of myself.

Let me know what you have planned to pack on your adventures. Do you go over board and end up taking everything? Comment down below or as always I’m on twitter @Katesbeautyhome I would love to hear about your plans for the Holidays and your essentials.

Next post will be up on Tuesday and all products mentioned are linked down below.

L’Oreal may never been the same again!

So I have recently bought a shed load of L’Oreal products that I have been trying out for the last few weeks and was going to post my reviews and opinions of  this evening, but in the light of their latest behaviours I have decided against this to instead sound off about their mistakes and why they should be ashamed of their handling of this situation.

If you haven’t already seen as recent as August 27th L’Oreal released their you tube video advertisement for their latest True Match foundation campaign which claims to have a matching shade for 98% of its consumers. In this video are influencers ranging from Cheryl Cole to Katie Piper. Amongst them is British Transgender DJ Munroe Bergdorf who during her individual clip champions L’Oreal for showing diversity and stating how hugely important that is for her whilst she does her “bit to break down barriers”.

Shortly after this campaign release the British Daily Mail newspaper (which has very right wing views) has done some digging and released an article based around views that Bergdorf had previously published on Facebook.

With comments such as “Most of y’all don’t even realise or refuse to acknowledge that your existence, privilege and success as a race is built on the backs, blood and deaths of people of colour. Your entire existence is drenched in racism. From micro-aggressions to terrorism, you guys built the blueprint for this shit”. These comments are not for the faint hearted but are true of our history. It would be foolish to think otherwise.

What became even more surprising is that L’Oreal have now released a statement indicating they have terminated contract with Bergdorf stating they “champion diversity. Comments by Munroe are at odds with our values and so we have decided to end our partnership with her”. Personally this was just shocking and has been handled so badly I can’t see the beauty chain recovering.

They could have used this as a platform to show how diverse they actually are as a company (instead of going against their own campaign), they could have empowered the freedom you have in your own thought and feelings and how we can overcome anything with the help of one another no matter their background, race or gender.

Instead they seemed to have tried to brush the issue under the carpet and as Munroe said “your heads that remain buried in the sand with hands over your ears”. It is such a shame that a company so large did not see how they could have really enforced the motto together=stronger to show great changes, proudness and strength but grew fearful of a strong woman’s views to their own demise.

I did not intend for this post to be so heavy but I felt if I continued with my original post I would be classing myself as ignorant which is not something I would ever wish to be.

Many thanks for taking the time to read.
